Over 35's NSW vs. QLD next weekend

Sunshine Coast ground

Saturday 24th October 3:00pm

Sunday 25th October 10:00am

Come and see our future vets playing in the annual competition between the states next weekend.

Currently QLD holds the trophy after winning the inaugural competition on the Gold Coast several years ago.

Last years competition in Sydney was tight with QLD winning on the Sunday and NSW coming back to win on the Monday. The Monday result may have been influenced by sabotage from the NSW Manager with the offer of a party for the team on the Sunday night

It promises to be a strong competition with ex-Australian players representing both NSW and QLD.

This competition is a warm up tournament for the 4-team event in Melbourne during the first weekend of the Champions Trophy. These games will be played over the Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the Footscray ground. The teams will be from Vic, NSW and QLD, with a Barbarian side comprised of players from the remaining states.

The 4-team competition will become an annual event with the games being played on the eastern seaboard next year. The future plan is to incorporate the age group into Vets National Competition.

Sunshine Coast as usual will provide an excellent venue and facilities to watch the games. So come along and support our Minkie Vets at the Sunshine Coast

See you there

Wombat,

Manager O35’s
