Inkey Millett Merit Award
 
The Ian “Inkey” Millett Award is a perpetual award struck in memory of Ian for his contribution to the founding of Veterans Hockey in Queensland and Australia.

 

The Ian “Inkey” Millett Award is presented annually to a member of the Queensland Veterans Association at the Australian Championships State Dinner. The nominee will have shown outstanding service to Hockey in all facets of the Game from Juniors through to Veterans.

 

The Criteria for this award is as follows:

 

Playing details – Club, District, State and if applicable Australia

Coaching and or manager details – Club, District, State and if applicable Australia

Administration Details – Club, District, State and if applicable Australia

Other Hockey Awards or achievements received by nominee.
 
The new recipient each year will be chosen by previous winners.
 
 
TO NOMINATE A WORTHY RECIPIENT:
 
Due Date  - 30 June 2010
 
  • Send a letter outlining your nominee's achievements according to the criteria above to the Secretary of Qld Mens Vets Hockey - secretary@qldmensvetshockey.com
  • The letter should give full details of the nominees playing/managing/coaching and admin service to Hockey.
  • Please note that this is a service award and not an achievement award.
